Kathmandu - Sri Lanka defeated Oman by 10 wickets in ICC ODI World Cup Qualifiers.
Sri Lanka chased down the modest target of 99 runs given by Oman in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe in the 15th over without losing any wicket.
For him, Dimuth Karunaratne scored 61 runs and Pathun Nisanka scored 37 runs. Oman, who lost the toss and were invited to bat first, were bowled out for 98 runs in 2 balls from 30 overs.
Apart from Ayaan Khan scoring 41 runs, Jitender Singh scoring 21 runs and Fayaz Butt scoring 13 runs, no one else could score runs in double figures.
Sri Lanka's Vinindu Hasaranga took five wickets, Lahiru Kumara three and Kasun Rajitha one. With the second win in a row, Sri Lanka has reached the top position of Group 'B' with 4 points.
Oman is in second place with 4 points from three games.
